End Chapter 2! Post-chapter break begins. Updates resume September 16th. Laaame xD
Rrado rambles; This page has some unintended ironic foreshadowing, and it's making me laugh. Nice to finally see a little glimpse into how the babs are feeling about this crazy mess. Leo, honey, you're in a post-apocalyptic universe, and all you can think about is training? You haven't even been there one day, omg. That's just how he deals, a'course, but I'm still going to laugh at him for it! Since the story is so condensed, I'm worried that their stories will get overshadowed by the 'loud' stuff going on with the sainw D: Here's hoping I can manage the balance!
A little side note, since it won't be in the comic. In the RP, Splinter actually DID go to sainw. Poor rat-dad looked everywhere for them, and he went all badass-survival-mode. It was fun stuff. And don't even get me started on how fun it was having the sainw bros interact with Splinter. But in the end, I decided to leave Splinter's 'journey to sainw' out of the comic. It'll feel empty without him around, but I think with everything going on, it was best to leave him out. Though there is a very slim chance that it'll become part of the PT story in the distant future. And by 'distant', I mean 5 years from now, ha!
Personal notes; Unfortunately, the last two days, I think I had some kind of panic attack episode. Feeling better, but I only had today to finish the page. So it's a bit rushed, damn! In better news, more flailing about the bgs! Just look at the difference! Fuck yes! This is going to be great for me! Once I get the hang of it, I'll be able to get in more details then I would if I drew by hand (and those details are important to me!). That's a HUGE relief, especially for future chapters. I might actually be able to get certain locations to look nice! I'm so happy! It'll also force me to deal with perspective, proportion, and placement issues that I can't usually see! Another really nice thing about it, is that I tend to procrastinate by doing 'technical' stuff, so now, I'll be able to 'procrastinate' by rendering bgs! Yay! My goal of '3 updates a week' is starting to look like a very real possibility! Not for another few months, but still, I'm really excited!
